Photo4Cents makes your passport photos on your own device. In short: your photos never leave it, nothing tracks you, and the only thing it remembers about you is your choice of settings.
Your photos
Everything happens in your browser: finding your face, cropping, checking the photo against the rules, replacing the background and laying out the print. Your photo is never uploaded, to us or to anyone else, and isn’t saved anywhere unless you download it yourself. When you close the page, it’s gone.
No tracking
There are no cookies, analytics, ads or accounts. The page only loads its own files, and your browser is told to block any request to another site, so nothing on it can send data elsewhere. The face-detection library would normally send usage statistics to Google; those requests are refused before they’re sent.
What’s stored on your device
- Your settings (photo type, print size, layout and cut lines), so they’re ready next time. Never the photo.
- The app’s own files and the face-detection models, so it opens quickly and works offline. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes both.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the requests your browser makes for the site’s files, including your IP address, to deliver them and protect the site from attacks. Cloudflare may keep a record of them for a few days, for troubleshooting. Those requests never include your photo. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page will say so first, with a new date at the top.
